Jack Kerr Memorial Lecture

£3

Archaeology & Palaeoecology at Queen’s University Belfast and the Ulster Museum present the second biennial Jack Kerr Memorial Lecture Society: Past, Present and Future by Dr Jago Cooper, curator of the Americas at the British Museum and presenter of BBC documentaries, Lost Kingdoms of South America (2011) and The Inca: Masters of the Clouds (2015).
How can we learn from the past to address the challenges of the future? The lecture will consider this question by drawing on recent research projects undertaken by Jago in the Americas. By examining how communities innovate and adapt to the challenges they face, he will consider what lessons can be learned to help all societies live through a current century of great global change.
