NI Science Festival, Nerve Centre and Mekong Street Food are excited to bring you this unique schools event for the very first time. Chef Stephen Forbes is the proprietor and head chef of Mekong Street Food in Derry-Londonderry which offers an array of Asian, Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Stephen will bring his expertise to your Home Economics classroom, with a live demo of how flavours work together and how they inspire him to design his award winning dishes (with tasting samples of course). Pupils are welcome to design their own recipe, they can submit their recipes to be judged by the Mekong chefs, the winning recipe will win lunch cooked by Stephen and his team for their whole class.
