Parents/Guardians are all children’s first educators and this interaction takes place in their home environment. Research suggests that once a child starts school continued support and involvement from parents in their education is proven to increase and raise a child’s achievement.

This event will provide fun science demonstrations, resources and experiments that parents and other care givers such as childcare workers, youth workers or others could implement in a home or childcare/youth setting to engage children in science with a hands-on approach.
