Join us to learn the secrets behind the best special effects (SFX) make up! Participants will learn how to create two, different special effects looks in this practical workshop which focuses on different body parts, allowing you to create realistic wounds and injuries from your favourite movies. Prizes for the best recreation on the day!
The S-Team Takeover Initiative is a pilot event for the 2019 Festival as part of the Year of Youth. Through this initiative, a team of young people (aged 16 – 24) were tasked with curating an entire day of Science Festival activity. The scheme provides young people with skills in science and event management, helping them to gain confidence, team building and management skills. There are 3 events happening as part of this initiative
