Ever wondered what ancient treasures are kept hidden away in storage, only seen by archaeologists and specialists? Have you always wanted to touch the objects in museums with a “Please don’t touch” sign?
Archaeology researchers and students bring out some of the most beautiful ancient artefacts directly from the vaults of Queen’s Archaeology department. Come and see the collection of rare items from Ireland, Egypt and Rome. Come and touch the teaching collection, as used by archaeology lecturers. Come and discover the new digital technologies and scientific techniques that are helping us bring archaeology to your
living room. And come and talk with archaeology researchers and find out what new things are being discovered.
